[Fedora Server] Emby running but cant load admin page at local address 192.168.1.17:8096

Hello everyone

I just installed emby on my Fedora Server at local network (server address 192.168.1.17) and trying to make my first run (using http://192.168.1.17:8096), but still getting message "error while loading page". Emby service is up and running here is a result of:

Are logs located in /var/lib/emby ? Please let me know if I should put them here.

Forgot to mention. SELinux disabled

Yes, the server logs are under /var/lib/emby/logs. 

Is that desktop session on the server itself and if so can you try http://localhost:8096?

Problem solved

Firewall issue

Just used tips from https://www.thegeekdiary.com/5-useful-examples-of-firewall-cmd-command/

In my opinion there should be additional note to open ports in installation instructions https://emby.media/linux-server.html

That's okay, we would have gotten there eventually. It's really not an Emby issue. Fedora, EL7 and EL8 (RedHat and CentOS) have firewalld enabled by default. And to add to the mess the zone policies for the desktop distros are different from the server distros.
