RichardP52 0 Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 This is a live TV problem. I hope someone could be of assisstance to me. I have Emby server running on an Apple Mac mini. A HDRun tuner working fine and all channels tuned and working OK. However the HD channels will not tune in Emby, I just keep getting the circle in the middle of screen going round. Channels 1 to 95 work OK, so it may not be a HD prboblem, is there a 95 channel limit? Richard
Spaceboy 2565 Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 No 95 channel limit, no fundamental reason why UK hd channels should not work. You’re going to have to provide a log
Luke 40105 Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 Hi there, can we please look at an example? Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue: Thanks.
RichardP52 0 Posted July 1, 2020 Author Posted July 1, 2020 I have attached some logs after attempting to use channel no. 100 BBC1HD. I hope the logs are the correct ones and are helpful in diagnosing the problem. Luke 40105 Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 Hi there, can you please attach the main emby server log as well? Thanks.
RichardP52 0 Posted July 1, 2020 Author Posted July 1, 2020 Hi. I'm struggling to find what you want, just to remind you I am using Apple mac-mini. "How to report a problem" does not mention Apple software. However in "Finder" i am going to: mac-mini/users/richardpage/emby-server/logs It is dated 11th June hope that's OK, if this is incorrect some more help will be needed to find it. Thanks Richard. ps very grateful for you help embyserver-63727497702.txt
Armageus 70 Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 Is this a recent thing, as there have been some changes to UK Free to air (freeview) channels recently: https://www.freeview.co.uk/help/22-jun-2020-channel-broadcast-changes Worth doing a full rescan of channels if you haven't already
RichardP52 0 Posted July 2, 2020 Author Posted July 2, 2020 Hi MY HDHome run has all the channels working, but I have still set it up again, just to be sure, it's fine. I deleted it from my Emby server and then found it again. Restarted PC, should there not be a new log file? If so where is it? No improvement in the situation. Richard

Richard Server log files can be found in the emby web interface, instructions are here: Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
