Emby can't find Movies.

To add more fun to this, I did a test. I took a series that would not show up ('Devs')
I made a totally new directory for in OUTSIDE of the drive areas that EMBY touches (not in my media library HDD areas)
Then I copied my old (was not being indexed by EMBY) 'Devs' series files into the new temp directory.
Then I deleted the old 'Devs' directory.
Then I copied my nackup of the 'Devs' series files into a new temp directory for Devs BACK into my media library area.

The directory and the files showed up in my library (hooray)!!

Bbut only for a few days and then it was no longer indexed by EMBY (well crap).

Hi.

I managed my movies like this:

Movies/A-Z/Movie_name (Year)/Movie_name (year) 720p.mkv and I had no problem till now.

When I move the folder "The whale (2022)" to the folder "T", Emby doesn't recognize it, but when I move it to the folder for example "W" It recognizes the movie.

Any Idea why this problem comes up?

I've tried library scan multiple times and restarting Emby server, but it didn't help.

Did you see any errors in your log file related to library scanning?

Emby won't see this in T as The is a RemoveSort word and will always sort to W.

  <SortRemoveWords>
    <string>the</string>
    <string>a</string>
    <string>an</string>
  </SortRemoveWords>

But you would have to explain "Emby doesn't recognize it" means.

I think the hard drive (which has bad sectors) casing the problem.

That could definitely cause problems.

Let's take another look after you get that sorted out!
