I am on version 4.4.2.0 (up to date)

I downloaded all my audiobooks from audible (.aax file format) and put them in a folder on my server

I made a new library of type audiobook pointed at the folder and the library is empty even after a manual library scan

does emby not support that audiobook type?

is there a way to download a different type that is supported from audible?

the only option I see is to switch between .aa and .aax

Hi, we currently don't support .aax at all but we can look into adding that in an upcoming release. Thanks for the feedback.

It would be nice if you actually supported correct resume/ff/rw on mp3 on all clients before trying to add new formats to the mix.

Isn't aa[x] an audio file with DRM?

I wonder, how Emby would be able to (legally) play these files.

The best would be to convert the files to mp3, it seems, this is possible using the tools from the Audible website?!

That's interesting, I didn't know that. I think the sample file that I got did not have drm on it. I don't think ffmpeg has any drm decryption so if there is drm I imagine it will fail.

Audiobook support in emby would be the best ! I really hope this is doable !

Good luck devs, keep up the great work !
