My guess would be imageprocessing, if you were to edit one of those images and redownload the same or different collection image does it resolve the issue for that item?

 

It might be as easy as clearing the image cache.

I don't really know the macos layout but you can see your cache location via the Dashboard Paths box.

\programdata\cache\images\enhanced-images

What version of emby server? i can tell from the screenshot it's not 4.4.

Whats command to installed upgrade is apt-get dpkg -i emby-server-deb_4.4.0.40_amd64.deb
