everyone 0
I have a roku ultra (2018) and an ipad. When I play the same live or dvr'd content, the roku is pixilated and buffering, while the ipad play perfectly. They are on the same wifi network. What can be the issue? Are setting specific to each device that is connecting, or are they universal? All other content (movies and music) play on the roku perfectly. speechles 1962
You may need to use the gear/cog on the video player OSD. Press down to bring up the OSD. Click the gear/cog. Look at what the QUALITY is at. If this says AUTO it will also list the speed auto has detected. If this is ridiculously low (..or high) for your network you can instead choose a higher (..or lower) setting yourself. Sometimes the auto-bitrate detection fails to detect correctly. It could be for a number of reasons. This is why you can also select your own speed for the Roku. Does this answer your question?
