jangle 1 Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Good Afternoon All. My installation of Emby 4.3.1.0 has been solid for months but what is weird when a movie fails to be identified I simply choose 'Identify' enter the search and the correct information including picture is found and I then select replace and click ok and it usually updates and changes everything. But at the moment it goes through the motions but the image/data is still staying as the original information. I am failing to get it ti successfully update with the correct information it has found. Any ideas? Regards, Stuart
Luke 38500 Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Hi there, can you please go over an example? Thanks.
jangle 1 Posted March 10, 2020 Author Posted March 10, 2020 STEP 1 - Movie identified, data to be updated. STEP 2 - Running Identify process and entering search information. STEP 3 - Correct information found from search. STEP 4 - Replacing existing data running OK. STEP 5 - Movie information not updated. Emby Server Log Attached embyserver.txt
Luke 38500 Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Here's one problem. You configured a custom metadata folder path but the server is being denied access to delete files from it: 2020-03-10 17:43:31.144 Debug App: MovieNfoProvider returned no metadata for D:\Video\DOCUMENTORIES\About Cannabis and Cancer (2019)\About Cannabis and Cancer (2019).mkv 2020-03-10 17:43:31.196 Error HttpServer: Error processing request *** Error Report *** Version: 4.3.1.0 Command line: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\EmbyServer.dll Operating system: Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True User Interactive: True Runtime: file:///C:/Users/Administrator/AppData/Roaming/Emby-Server/system/System.Private.CoreLib.dll Processor count: 4 Program data path: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata Application directory: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system System.UnauthorizedAccessException: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'D:\Emby Server\metadata\library\91\910789471525b49337b46d7c779cbe0e\poster.jpg' is denied. at System.IO.FileSystem.DeleteFile(String fullPath) at System.IO.File.Delete(String path) at Emby.Server.Implementations.IO.ManagedFileSystem.DeleteFileInternal(String path, Boolean sendToRecycleBin)
jangle 1 Posted March 10, 2020 Author Posted March 10, 2020 The page was refreshed. The folder has the same access permissions as the others such as cache and transcoding. It can successfully search / open the folder. Thank you for the information I will dig deeper.
Luke 38500 Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Yes I would resolve those file access problems first and then re-evaluate. There's a good chance it will resolve your issue. Thanks.
