misterkoat 6
I was wondering why there is no support for matching movies with the TVDB. I have The Oscars 2020, which is available in The TVDB but not The MovieDb. In the metadata sources, The TVDB doesn't show up for movies.
Luke 36881
Hi, it's just something that's never come up before. I wasn't even aware they had movies.
ebr 14858
I wasn't either... Do they categorize them somehow? If not, it seems the opportunity for bad matches would be huge.
Happy2Play 8139
It was part of their new site and api. But would assume will be improved in v4. Right now Search isn't optimized on the Movies endpoint. It will be in our v4 API which is scheduled for at least a few months away. Our apologies. https://forums.thetvdb.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=62755 Edited March 1, 2020 by Happy2Play
Luke 36881
Well then I'm sure we'll eventually support it. Right now it looks a little too new to be able to rely on it yet.
misterkoat 6
I think it has always been there. Or not. It would be cool if you added it though.
