seanbuff 837
Posters appear to be stretched in the latest update of Emby Theater Emby Web App for comparison Have noticed this in both Xbox One and Windows desktop apps. @@Luke also noticed that web app posters are not as sharp as Theater posters (see screenshot) -- let me know if you want me to start a different topic for that. seanbuff 837
Even Actors images are stretched, if that helps narrow it down. Only noticed in Emby Theater
Luke 36884
You really see it on the home screen? What about other image types like thumbs?
PeteMB 12
I see the same problem on my XBox One and Emby Theater (Store App). But It's only a problem when the Display mode is set to TV. In Desktop and Mobile / Tablet mode the poster are correctly displayed.
seanbuff 837
You really see it on the home screen? What about other image types like thumbs? Yes, 100% on the home screen ...thumbs appear to be okay though. ET Store app: Xbox One ET app: Web app for comparison: Posters on ET apps seem to have a much narrower aspect ratio than the Web App, giving the appearance that they've been elongated. unisoft 271
There's an update going out to resolve this. Thanks. Fixed for me in that the ratio is now correct and not elongated, but in the detail screen the Folder.jpg of the movie image is shown smaller than in a few versions of ET (Store) ago. Do the actor images have to be shown THAT big? If they were half the size you could stack two rows of them so you could see more of the cast at once. Luke 36884
Well they're the same size as other posters.
unisoft 271
Well they're the same size as other posters. Folder.jpg isn't for the DVD/Blu ray cover when I click a cover and go into the detail screen?? The detail screen for a movie its shown smaller than on previous screen. If I went back say 10 versions of ET it was shown bigger I'm sure? The actor images are far too large though. They dominate over the DVD/Blu ray cover image. Luke 36884
Yes the poster has gotten a little smaller to try and bring the design closer to our other apps.
