sfatula 196 Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Using the so called Chrome browser on IOS, emby web interface never displays. The attached screen shows forever and it never progresses from there. Using Safari, it works fine. Any chance it could be fixed since I use Chrome?
Luke 40137 Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 I just tested this and it seems to be working ok. Are you sure you have the correct address?

Luke 40137 Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 What address is in the browser address bar?
sfatula 196 Posted January 19, 2020 Author Posted January 19, 2020 It's right in the image uploaded, clicking on the same link used on all platforms. It starts as http://192.168.3.18:8096 (local and don't care about SSL), hit enter, and it changes to /web/index.html and stays static. Most likely then it has to do with login, perhaps that data is messed up on the device. Will clear data for that site. Just an FYI, I am a network engineer.
Luke 40137 Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Very strange but yes that would be a useful thing to try. Thanks.
sfatula 196 Posted January 19, 2020 Author Posted January 19, 2020 (edited) Nope, didn't help, even deleted and redownloaded Chrome. Problem is only on iPad Pro. Works on iPhone. Not sure what the issue is. On Chrome for iPad, I CAN get it to work if I go to the menu in Chrome and select "request desktop site" each time I want to connect to Emby. Strange. But a workaround. Could even be a Chrome on iPad Pro bug, who knows. Edited January 19, 2020 by sfatula
Luke 40137 Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 How does the online web app compare? Http://app.emby.media
sfatula 196 Posted January 19, 2020 Author Posted January 19, 2020 Behaves the same, I just have to select request desktop site and it all works. It's not a big deal since the desktop version works fine. The big pro iPad seems to just do something differently.
