Yes, "volley" is the networking library on Android.  There should be more information after "Volley error: ..."

OK, that's a two hour gap but i don't see anything obvious here. The log is filled with activity from the theme song plugins. you could try uninstalling those, then restarting the server and see if that helps.

Hi.  Yes, the additional information in the message indicates that a request is timing out.  It looks like possibly attempting to retrieve some of your "Latest" rows.

I do see some long response times in your log for those queries (in the neighborhood of 40 seconds).  Also looks like this is to a remote client connection.  What are the network speeds both up and down and how large of a library are we talking about?

What kind of server hardware is involved?  I saw lots of slower than I would expect response times in that log - like 12 seconds to get an activity log reading.

But I also saw that a backup was being performed at the same time you said you had trouble with this (around 10am).  You might want to re-schedule that.

Not sure what that is but I don't think that is the issue because that is at midnight & that is not when I was having the issue. I will wait til I see it do it again & give a more exact time.  Thanks for helping me look into this issue.

Yes, I'm seeing slow response times again in the log.  This is a remote connection, right?

How does the web app compare?

In your logs I saw very slow response times to the queries so being remote or local in those cases may not matter much as it was taking the server 40+ seconds to generate the results.

Is  your database (main Emby installation) on the OS SSD?  How many items are in your library?

My database is on a separate SSD drive then the OS

How do I see how many items I have?
