Advanced Filtering

Hi,

 

Can we have more options in filtering like directed by, writer, producer, cast, tags? Also I don't see any value addition in having video and audio codec filtering in  client apps (thinking as a layman user). Also can I edit the filter system by my own provided I have some technical and coding skills?
