Trying to find source code location of FFmpeg conversion of m3u playlists.

When FFmpeg transcodes the m3u stream on the fly for viewing where is the code that handles this?

 

I cannot seem to find it anywhere in the source code on GitHub.

Hi, the actual conversion takes place in ffmpeg so you can look at that source code, which I'm sure you're aware. The emby code that launches ffmpeg.exe is not open source at this time. Thanks.

Not at this time but anything's possible for the future. Are you a software developer?

Yes - in java and python

 

Only a little experience in C/++ though
