Emby for Kodi won't start but service is running

Hi,

 

since a few days (maybe since the last update) emby for kodi won't start but the background-service is running. 

 

Kodi 18.5, Addon Version 4.1.16

Try disabling screensaver.evolve.aerial. It is somehow interfering with emby for kodi? Honestly, I've never seen anything like that...

yes, that was the problem, after I disabled the screensaver and restarted Kodi it works again.

I reached out to the developer, they said they are rewriting it right now so when they are done, we'll have you test to confirm this issue is resolved.
