29988122 0
This behavior is universal among Home video&photo/Movie/Mixed library type. For web interface and android Emby client, the sorting is: folder first, then files. (The ones without length info are actually ISO files, and is playable) However, this sorting does not apply to DLNA clients such as bubbleupnp. In bubbleupnp or other DLNA client, the sorting is strictly in alphabetical order, and is not folder first. I already tried apply customized DLNA profile, tick options such as Display all folders as plain storage folders or Display all videos as plain video items, but they doesn't work. (I've checked the debug log, and the profile is applied corerctly) I wonder if this is a bubbleupnp issue, or an emby issue? (I already tried every possible individual library options in bubbleupnp)If possible, I'd like the behavior among emby native client/DLNA client the same, because I'm really not a fan of metadata library sorting. Folder structure is better suitable to me.(also the same experience in windows explorer)Thank you for creating such a strong competitor against plex! Luke 36881
Hi, thanks for the feedback. We currently don't have any options to control this, but it's possible for the future. Thanks.
29988122 0
Wow, your reply is very fast. I'd have to shamefully admit that sometimes I ignore github issue myself for more than a week... Anyway, thank you for having this on your mind!
