arrbee99 1713 Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 (edited) Am reinstalling Emby on a new SSD. I did a backup from the previous installation and now I've just told it to restore the old info that was saved. So far it created pretty much three of everything under My Media. Should I worry or should I just wait till it finishes its scan and see what develops ? Edited November 7, 2019 by arrbee99
Luke 40131 Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 Did you click the restore button three times?
arrbee99 1713 Posted November 7, 2019 Author Posted November 7, 2019 Erm. Don't think so. Maybe possibly twice. Don't think there was any kind of acknowledgement that it was restoring or doing anything after I told it to restore so might have clicked it again. Sorry to be so vague.
arrbee99 1713 Posted November 8, 2019 Author Posted November 8, 2019 Oh well, they're still there. I have 3 My Media entries for Movies, TV, Documentaries etc, and of course further down 3 x Latest Movies, 3 x Latest Music etc linked to only one library entry for each one. Any thoughts - chuck out library.db and try again ?
Happy2Play 9458 Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 Are the folders added multiple time to each library (Dashboard-Library)? What is in the options.xml for each library (\Emby-Server\programdata\root\default\eachlibrary)
arrbee99 1713 Posted November 8, 2019 Author Posted November 8, 2019 (edited) Everything listed under Libraries has 3 entries under My Media. e.g. one Documentaries library > 3 My Media entries Not sure what to look for in an options.xml e.g. for Collections... options.xml Edited November 8, 2019 by arrbee99
arrbee99 1713 Posted November 8, 2019 Author Posted November 8, 2019 So I chucked library.db and its now re-doing it. Not finished yet but touch wood its looking better, only one of everything, so far at 93% done...
