Cant pause/play/skip in live TV using kodi, everywhere else fine

In Kodi I'm using the Emby for kodi plugin, Embuary skin and using NextPVR as my backend.

 

I'm using an MCE remote that I got working using the scripts here: http://xbmccustomregis.sourceforge.net/remote_auto.html

The buttons now work in every part of Kodi except live TV where the pause/play and skip buttons do nothing.

Strangely if I play back a recorded show or some other media the play/pause/skip buttons work fine.

 

They also work fine in Emby theatre (Emby is setup to use NextPVR as well)

 

Any ideas? I am so close to having it all working!

It sounds like Kodi doesn't "know" that you are able to timeshift and pause.

Thanks for the hint sualfred, I found the setting!

 

It's under the NextPVR plugin settings in Kodi, have to enable timeshift or extended timeshift (though I found I was getting picture break up artifacts on some channels with extended enabled).
