On Screen controls disappear on android 10

Hi- when a (Downloaded or streamed) video is played back, the on-screen controls can't be brought back up to i.e, seek , change subtitles or audio track, pause video etc.

 

They are there where the video is started, and work, but once they disappear, they are permanently gone. it's a case of having to hit the back button to escape the fullscreen video.

 

the gesture on the right hand side of the screen to advance forward / left hand side go back still work.

Hi- definitely working now- but wasn't at first- could well be user error!
