ecrispy 23
Can't use MBT remote as we're not running MBT. And as I understand it all the XBMC remotes like Yatse and the official one use the XBMC database, so they won't work either. Is that right? ecrispy 23
Use the web client/android client/IOS client. Do you mean XBMC or MBT client? Not sure how either of them will work in this setup. Edited June 3, 2014 by ecrispy
xnappo 1593
What are you trying to do? I am guessing you want to select something to play from another computer or tablet and have it played back on an XBMC machine. In this case you use the Web client or any other client and select the XBMC machine as the playback device (using the little wi-fi looking cast icon). Maybe you are trying to do something else? xnappo
ecrispy 23
I wasn't sure you can do 'play to' to an XBMC client. I thought it only worked with clients running MBT. My goal is to use my cheap Android tablet as remote, for selecting what to play and also control playback.
xnappo 1593
Yep - it will work fine. XBMB3C supports it. xnappo Edited June 3, 2014 by xnappo
