ET Windows Desktop Client CSS Editing?

not sure if this is the right forum to ask about this, but where are the css files stored for the et windows desktop client that can be edited to change the apps appearance? are the files archived in a *.asar container or the like? thanks!

They're hosted, not bundled into the app, so it's not possible.

thanks... i remember when i used emby years ago there was a github fork solution, altho i don't remember if that was for the web app or for the desktop app - was that for the desktop app and, if so, is it still alive and supported? thanks.

You're talking about the theater windows app shell, that code has always been there but has never contained the UI.

found it - this is what i was referring to, is it possible to edit the et windows desktop app using this?

Yes but like i said, not the UI which is what you want. The only thing you can change there are things like the video player.

ok, gotchya, thanks....

 

have you ever considered giving users the ability to edit the windows desktop app, along the same lines of giving them the ability to edit the web app? perhaps adding a custom.css file to the et folder that's linked to from the hosted files?
