DarkKniyt (John) 6 Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 The option for "People" treatment style is no longer available in CoverArt. Is this intentional or is there something wrong with my install of the plug-in? Thanks in advance for any help on this. 1
DarkKniyt (John) 6 Posted August 14, 2019 Author Posted August 14, 2019 Could we get the option back?
Luke 40121 Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 No - you removed the option Do you recall how long ago that was? Are you sure about this?
Happy2Play 9449 Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Do you recall how long ago that was? Are you sure about this? Can't say exactly when but it has been awhile, as you can see it existed in CA 4.0 https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/800-coverart-40/?p=147505
PenkethBoy 2066 Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Do you recall how long ago that was? Are you sure about this? Positive you could apply treatments and yes it has been a long time since it was removed but no reason it cant be added back in
DarkKniyt (John) 6 Posted August 15, 2019 Author Posted August 15, 2019 So the photos of actors can be given a treatment to match all the rest of the treatments I use. It looks better!
chacawaca 109 Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 if you can apply it to genre and playlist too, that would be nice.
ebr 15672 Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 We removed this years ago because it just slowed things down way too much.
PenkethBoy 2066 Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 It did not - and you could choose to apply it or not - as you can for all the other treatments besides the server etc is faster now than it was my guess is approx 18 months ago
DarkKniyt (John) 6 Posted August 15, 2019 Author Posted August 15, 2019 Agree. If you do not want the treatment, don't use it. Some of us would like the option back if possible.
ebr 15672 Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 It did cause a problem for a lot of people. If an option is available, people want to turn it on and, when they do, they expect it to perform. We can possibly investigate bringing this back but will have to test it thoroughly.
