Duplicated version for downloaded media

Hi,

 

as title..

 

I have some downloaded episode..

 

If I check the detail page of the episode on the server..I see 2 version with the same name..

 

For not downloaded episode is not appening..

Hi, yes I've seen this happen once or twice and am trying to chase down what is causing it. In any event, it should not cause any problems. Thanks.

i had two sets in download, went to delete one and both set were deleted.

 

the files are still on my sd card, i can play the offline files in the tv section of the app.

 

is there a way to add them to the downladed section? i downloaded another files from a different server and its a tiny issue to have to log into the right server to get the offline versions.

 

if not ill just delete them off the sd card and redownload.

If you deleted the downloads then no. I'm surprised they still show up on the detail screen for the server item. That's helpful info though, thanks.

sorry, only the listing was gone from the downloads page.

 

the actual files were still on the sdcard (oddly they were not deleted) and even played when in the app. i could choose to play the downloaded version or transcode.

 

hopefully that makes sense

This is happening to me too, with downloaded movies, and episodes why would it show twice.

We'll take a look at this soon. We've been so focused on the actual download process that we just haven't had a chance to look at this yet. Thanks.

I had this happen when I downloaded some things on my husbands Samsung S2 tablet the other day. When offline the Downloads folder shows two of everything.

 

I decided to test downloading something on my Samsung S3 Tablet and voila, same thing happens:

Here is also a screenshot I just took of the server download and sync jobs: Emby Server on Windows 10 Pro. Emby Server Version 4.2.1.0. (And all Emby Mobile apps up to date as to whichever version is in the Google Play Store.)

Glad this is still being looked into. I have the same issue. Becomes quite messy when you have a lot of downloads. :-)

Agreed.  I went on a trip with a bunch of movies downloaded on to the device.  It was very cumbersome scrolling through screens with all duplicate posters.  It took them a while, but they finally fixed the external download function and the audio sync issue.  The only problem I have left for my use case is this duplicate download issue.
