The App hangs, its not possible to start the video on the last stopped position. I go back main view Ipad, start the app again and then the password is asked. speedy78 1 Posted June 7, 2019 Author Share Posted June 7, 2019 I only use emby local with PC, FireTV for TV and iPad - no remote. The password is always requested on iPad app only. It would help to have an setting, that it don´t request a password on local home network usage (subnet x.x.x.x), but either there is no option any more for this in emby or I saw it once on plex. On the last installation it was mandatory to set a password - a installation ahead i didn´t need to create a password for emby-user. Thats the cause, why I didn´t have the problem at an earlier time. Hi, yes there is actually an option for this. Use the emby server dashboard to configure the password for your user, and underneath the password field there is a section about the In-Network pin code. Just enable the pin code feature and leave it blank. They you will be able to sign in without a password on your local devices. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks ! There are always ***** in the field. Saving with blank field (apart from *****) didn´t work to remove the PIN and the stars can´t be removed too.
