mrfragger 39 Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 Could you please show OPUS bitrate. All my encodings are at 96Kbps OPUS. It'd be nice for others to view the bitrate.
Luke 38804 Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 I suppose we could. Is it really that valuable to know during playback?
mrfragger 39 Posted March 24, 2019 Author Posted March 24, 2019 For my own encodes it doesn't help cuz I know they're always 96kpbs but it helps for other content when it's OPUS. Main reason I like viewing the audio bitrate is to see if it's worth re-encoding or not to save data. Of course I could view this info under IINA on MAC but at times it's quicker just to do so in the Emby app Stats for Nerds on Nvidia Shield. I'm trying to keep my collection under 12TB currently at 10TB.
Tupsi 4 Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 The web app already shows the bitrate I noticed the other day. So this is about the app, right? If that is the case and your redoing that, please consider changing the button icon where you get to the settings into the cog wheel from the web app OR change the web app icon into the one of the app, in essence please make it consistent over all front ends. (and yeah I know its a very very "nice to have", not really an issue) :-)
Luke 38804 Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 It should be a cog wheel everywhere. Where are you seeing it different?

ebr 15427 Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 Yea we'll need to standardize that. Thanks. On it. 1
