Sammy 739
[Removed image] Is this a staged roll out? Thought I'd have it by now? I've restarted the server, BTW. Thanks. Happy2Play 8358
Since the task is hidden now you can run it via the API or restart your server to trigger the startup task trigger.

Sammy 739
I got it to update to server version 4.0.2.0 this morning and although the installation was downloaded I couldn't get it to install by restarting the server. During the time period that it was pending installation it wouldn't play anything on my ShieldTV. I resrarted the server several times to no avail. Then I went to task manager and killed the Emby server running tasks. After that I noticed that emby server update what is a running task. I went back to the dashboard refresh the page and after a few minutes of seeing it tell me the database was updating I have my server back on version 4.0.2.0. Sammy 739
Since the task is hidden now you can run it via the API or restart your server to trigger the startup task trigger.Does this mean it's not visible in task manager processes? Or not visible in the start-up task list? Or is it something else? Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk

Happy2Play 8358
I have 4.0.2.0, but the multi-select doesn't seem any different to before. OT: Now it is available on hover vs long click hold on item.
Sammy 739
Not visible in scheduled task.So this is a hidden scheduled task within Emby Scheduled Tasks? Wasn't it good enough in the server settings? I'm completely confused! LOL Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk

Luke 37267
I have 4.0.2.0, but the multi-select doesn't seem any different to before. Nor should it be. It was not part of the release notes: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/blog/1/entry-452-emby-server-402-released/

Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk There use to be a visible task in Dashboard-Scheduled Task, that you could trigger manually. Now it is hidden but still runs on a interval (every 24hrs) and at startup.
Luke 37267
Are you still having an issue with this?
Sammy 739
Are you still having an issue with this? No. Sorry. I should have followed up either way. I had to close three runnin Emby Server Processes in Task Manager. There should only be one, right? BTW, I'm now on HotFix 4.0.3 which installed without issue. Thanks @@Luke ! Here's how Emby excels over the others. Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk
