LqHnyBear 23
Since updating to 4.x I've been getting double episodes from the same series showing up in "Next Up" like let's say I have a show with 200 episodes I just started watching, it'll show me where I'm at S01E04 but also S04E02 or something similar or even as in the example the exact same episode twice. If I mark the entire series as watch then a different show starts doing the same thing. Second issue I've been having is with playback on the Xbox One. Shows are randomly freezing and never resuming playback. I have to hit back and resume to get it playing again. These shows are being played direct with no transcoding. logs.zip

All my videos are h.264 mkv and it happens with any of them. Just happened twice, once per video, while watching these two files. And it only appears to happen on my Xbox not on my Samsung TVs. kaelin 8
Looking forward to some Next Up love. My wife depends heavily on it. Getting random shows just showing up on it since the 4.0 release. Would love to be able to add or remove shows that I want to it. Also be able to see specials in the next up would be nice. You could try lowering the in-app quality setting to force them to transcode.
LqHnyBear 23
hmmm wasn't having any issues with them before the 4.x updates. And I have much much larger files at much higher bitrates. I've streamed as high as 45Mbps with no issues on several 4k videos I have, prior to 4.x. I was starting to think it's and issue with files that have subs in them as it happens more often on those files but I'm not sure.
Luke 37360
Right but I think it's something related to these particular files.
LqHnyBear 23
And it's odd too because if it happens it's at random times. It could be 5 minutes in or 30 minutes in or 40 minutes in etc etc but if I just hit back, then resume it plays the rest of the file with no issues. Luticus 13
I have issues since upgrading to the 4x versions as well where at the end of an episode of a show it will hang instead of continuing on to the next episode. Oddly though if I click the start next episode button before it gets the the point where it would automatically do it, it works. So it's only on the automatic next episode that it hangs up. Really need a fix for that.

Luticus 13
@@Luke From my testing it looks like the problem may only occur in Firefox, seems to not affect chrome. Haven't tested any other browsers though. I'll see if I can take a recording or something to show what is happening. Basically, watch an episode of anything in Firefox and let it finish and start the next episode count down, once the countdown hits 0 and the next episode should play, emby will stall out and hang on a black screen with a spinning (loading) wheel forever. The only way to get it to un-brick is to refresh the browser. Haven't done a lot of testing in chrome yet, but it seems to be unaffected. Happens consistently in Firefox though. Luticus 13
Alright, I can see in the list that the update specifically addresses my issue so I'll see if I can give that a shot and I'll report back and let you know. Definitely appreciate the quick fix on that one, it was driving my kids nuts.
