lepitismak 1
1) I noticed that approximately every 24h the server consumes the memory of the machine totally (I am currently 32gb on a dedicated server). to solve this problem? 2) I'm using EmbyCon and constantly the movie folders and / or series are empty. In some cases errors appear. Examples: URL error: Internal Server Error. Connection Error timed out

Luke 37251
great, thanks. And yes, there are some really slow responses in this log. This should perform much better with the upcoming 3.6 release of Emby Server. Thanks.

This should perform much better with the upcoming 3.6 release of Emby Server. Thanks. I also have a problem with security measures for remote access. All options for forcing remote connections to use HTTPS do not work. Both HTTP and HTTPS are mapped to the extranet through unup, and HTTP ports can be accessed through remote addresses, and successfully logged in. Configuration that forcing remote connections to use HTTPS does not work。

Happy2Play 8356
I set up a secure connection mode for all remote connections, but the HTTP port was still mapped to UPnP,This is not the result I want, the correct result is that the HTTP port will not be mapped to UPnP But http port is broadcasting upnp on your local network and your Router is allowing that port to be accessible from the WAN. This is why UPNP really has no security, UPNP is a all or nothing protocal, it has nothing to do with Emby it is the protocol itself. Disabling UPNP resolves this issue, correct. When the secure connection mode is set to be required for all remote connections, remote connections should only use HTTPS instead of http. The solution is to close the network mapping for only http ports, not all of them.
juebanlin 1
Have you setup HTTPS with an SSL certificate? I mean: in the case that security mode is set to remote connections, HTTP ports should not be accessed by the public network, only HTTPS ports, or only open HTTPS ports. Or HTTP ports are not mapped by UPnP

I've configured SSL correctly and can access it properly. my concern is why HTTP ports can be accessed on the public network. Luke 37251
You need to set the secure connections mode to required. Have you done that? If you've done that and you think you're still seeing connections over HTTP, then please go over an example and attach the information requested in how to report a problem. Thanks ! How are you connecting to your server? There is currently no redirect for http://app.emby.media. I don't use UPNP and entering http://servername.com:8096 redirects me to https://servername.com:8920. Luke 37251
It's a beta release, so you would only want to install it to participate in testing. You can learn more by checking out the Testing Area of the community: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/forum/102-emby-server/ Thanks.
