chef 3808 Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 (edited) Hi, I had a lot of time on my hands since I lost most of my movies and I was ripping them all back. So I decided to look through the internet and find cool Retro/Minimal style Movie Posters that wouldn't necessarily scrape into the library from the emby's image associates. I made none of these, I just collected them. Here is what they look like (I mocked a library to show them): Images.zip Edited December 8, 2018 by chef 2
PuffyToesToo 342 Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 I also love using minimalist/retro style posters! I may have a few that I could add here if you'd like? 1

Do it! in windows you can copy out an entire structure in cmd like so: robocopy g:\Movies g:\Images /E /MIR poster.jpg where "g:\movies" is the library parent folder and "g:\Images" is the folder where you want it to go. You'd have to remove "extrafantart" folders and "backdrops" folder if they exist in your library because they'll copy over to the "Images" folder. Edited December 8, 2018 by chef 1
PuffyToesToo 342 Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 Great! I keep a set in a backup folder, so they are all set to go. (Thank you for the tip, it WILL come in handy!) 1

seanbuff 1150 Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 A lot of these (and more) are available at ThePosterDB They talk about having plans to open up a public API soon (https://www.reddit.com/r/ThePosterDB/comments/dc1clr/any_plans_for_adding_api/)Would be great if Emby could eventually use ThePosterDB as an additional source for images. They also have a nice set of 'Collection' posters. 3
