Only single file movies (the ones not in folder) appear now after all them appeared for days

I was using emby normally and had more than 30 movies, most of them inside their folders, but some of them (like 5) were single files that had no folder. Now only them appear on the catalog out of nothing. The 'scan library' task is running for more than 7 hours and it's very slowly growing but it's at 87.9% now. I tried restarting several times without success. I'm using 3.5.3.0 on ubuntu 18.04 on a macbook air.

Hi there, can you please discuss an example? Thanks !

It looks like it was a bug. I tried to restart emby with the restart button but it didn't work. Then I restarted the computer and everything worked fine. However, some movie pictures aren't showing even after multiple movie library scans. I have to manually download them by the emby tool that allow it. Do you have any idea of what is happening?

ps: all this started to happen after I deleted a movie library and readded it.

I can't see anything in this imgur. Can you provide some discussion of the example, and attach images directly to the forum? Thanks.

As you see, some movies won't load the images, even though they are recognized and the images were loaded before and load when I search them individually for each film. Sometimes a new image will show up like, a new one per day, but the majority of images wont load.

Try refreshing one of those titles manually.

manually updating metadata worked

but how to avoid this bug or how to do it for all movies?

We don't really know yet that there's a bug because there's no way to know what happened at the time these were first scanned.
