pjshots 4
Hi, Since the last update, 3.5.2.0, I've had a problem with scrolling down pages on the server dashboard interface. Is this an on-going problem? I run on Linux. Scrolling works fine on the normal Emby media interface, browsing sections, TV channels, etc, just not on the admin pages. No custom CSS and using Google Chrome 69.0.3497.100 Any help would be great. Thank you.
Happy2Play 8282
Known issue from Chrome 69 update, that was the main hot fix in 3.5.3.0.

pjshots 4
Thanks for the quick replies. Sorry, obv didn't look hard enough and the server hasn't been checking for updates lately.
pjshots 4
Worked great, thank you. To be honest, I tend not to update to the latest version as in the past I've had things break. Great to know its still working well :-)

asambrook 0
Installing emby-server-deb_3.5.3.0_amd64.deb and it apparently installs ok but then fails to run, no error messages or anything. Reverting back to Version 3.3.1.0 starts fine except scrolling doesn't work in the interface at all. Ubuntu 18.04 and chrome Version 70.0.3538.67 (Official Build) beta (64-bit) Same issue in Chromium Version 70.0.3538.67 (Official Build) Built on Ubuntu , running on Ubuntu 18.04 (64-bit)
Luke 37064
How are you trying to run 3.5.3?
asambrook 0
Via sudo service emby-server start in a terminal. The scrolling has only failed on chromium when it updated today, previously it was working fine. Scrolling failed on Chrome ages ago so I've been getting by running it under Chromium. I should probably have addressed the issue long ago! Edited October 26, 2018 by asambrook
Luke 37064
Can you please supply the full terminal output? thanks.
asambrook 0
There's no output in the terminal from the command sudo service emby-server start I just get the command prompt again. I've tried restart instead of start. Note that there's no output on version 3.3.1.0 either but it does start/restart and can be accessed via localhost:8096 or 192.168.xxx.xxx:8096 address fine. (except for the scrolling issue lol) Screenshot is from version 3.3.1.0 but I get the same output in the terminal with version 3.5.3.0 Edited October 26, 2018 by asambrook
asambrook 0
SOLVED... sudo apt purge emby-server sudo find / -name "emby*" - deleted everything found except the 3.5.3.0 install package sudo dpkg -i emby-server-deb_3.5.3.0_amd64.deb Had to re-setup all my libraries and preferences but it seems to be up and running now
