Weird Connection Failure - From the WebUI inside my network

I'm getting a weird connection issue from within the webui on my own internal network.

Steps to recreate:

1) Access the webui at the url http://192.168.0.7:8096/

2) The users in the system show up. Click the desired user.

3) Receive the message below:

Connection Failure
We're unable to connect to the selected server right now. Please ensure it is running and try again.

Current setup:
Emby is running from a plugin in a Freenas jail.
Earlier this week, I created a new Emby jail and copied the Emby data to it using this procedure: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/10427-how-to-migrate-emby-server/
I shut down the old server, set the new server so the old server's IP address via static IP routing in my router and via the jail's setting in freenas. I brought the new server up, and can successfully access the IP adress and see the users in the system as you can see above.

I've seen connection issues before, but none from within the webUI (after having already connected to the machine's IP and port combination) on the local network. I have no idea what connection it's looking for outside of the 192.168.0.7:8096 IP/Port combination in my own network. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Sidenote: If I manually navigate to the selectserver.html page, I can see my server defined within. Selecting it and choosing Connection takes me to the list of users, but it the same issue is experienced when clicking the users from that path as well.

Were these locally created users? Does the browser debug console show any errors? Thanks.

Yeah, these are locally created users. I'm not doing anything fancy with Emby Connect or anything of that nature.

There is an exception visible after selecting a user in developer mode. The lines of which are pasted below:

Error opening web socket: Error: Cannot open web socket without access token.
returning instance from getOrAddApiClient
Requesting url without automatic networking: http://192.168.0.3:8096/emby/Users/authenticatebyname
POST http://192.168.0.3:8096/emby/Users/authenticatebyname 500 (Internal Server Error)
app is hidden

It's just the mode that let's you see the guts of the page. F12 in Chrome brings it up.

I had a potential epiphany this morning. The plugin from which the data came may have been a different version from the destination jail. I'll try to upgrade that data and re-import. I'm not sure how to do that yet, but I'll figure it out.

I created a new plugin based on the same version as the source plugin, migrated the data over, and still had the same issue.

In the end, it's not worth this much hassle. I created a fresh jail based on the current version of the plugin and set it up. The libraries are scanning now.
