condor213 0
Hello, I have used Plex before but decided to try Emby when it stopped working. Really like the software this far, but there is a major dealbreaker for me. I can't play any subtitles. I have tested with both external srt, srt included in mkv file and subtitle image format in mkv. My settings are: Preferred subtitle language: Any / Subtitle mode: Always play subtitles / Burn subtitles: All complex formats. Have tried messing around with these settings but still see no option in Web browser or Android app to play subtitles. The "Search for subtitles" menu shows no results. Maybe I'm just stupid and have missed something obvious, so please help me.

Happy2Play 8351
Your screenshot shows no metadata also. Where do you save metadata? Testing showed no issue with exact same named files. Edited September 2, 2018 by Happy2Play

As I'm new to this program, not sure I understand what metadata means in this context. These are the paths: Do I have to change anything below? Happy2Play 8351
You have no Media Info so Emby has not probed the media or ffmpeg is failing on your system. Can you Refresh the metadata and post the server log. Should have media info similar to this
