I have a new install of Emby Server Version 3.5.1.0 on Windows Server 2016.  This is a recent installation from about a week ago, so all of the cache and database files are fresh.

I'm having issues with the Cast & Crew showing all of the movies/tv shows an actor appeared in.  For example, if I browse to Spider-Man: Homecoming and select Michael Keaton, the only movies he appears in are Spider-Man: Homecoming and Toy Story of Terror.  Which is only a small subset of the movies that I have that he's starred in such as Batman Returns, Birdman, etc..

I ensured that I ran a full library scan to be sure that all of the movie metadata was up to date and that I had write permissions to the movie directories.  I also went to the individual movies that Michael Keaton starred in and checked that he showed up in the Cast & Crew.  This does occur with other Cast & Crew too, I checked various other actors and the same issue was observed.

Aside from the log entry below from during the people scan I'm not sure what other information might be useful to debug this issue.  Please let me know.

I've seen this problem on my system too.

If you do a search for Michael Keaton in emby does he appear more than once?

No, he only appears once when I do a search.  I select him from the search and it still only brings up the same two movies that I mentioned in the original post.

Thanks for the info!  I have a manual refresh of my movie library right now.  The initial results seems promising and more movies are appearing under the movies the have been refreshed.  Thanks.

Hi, what you need to do is check all of those titles and see if that particular actor is listed for that title. Perhaps you may have had pre-existing local metadata, in which case, this isn't really an "issue", as we're simply using what's in your file. As others have alluded to, you can replace that with a manual refreshing of titles, which will cause Emby to use internet metadata.
