XML TV Titles/Sub-Titles

I am a very happy new user that has a question:

 

First, my environment. 

Emby Server running on QNAP.  Main client Nvidia Shield

Channel Guide: XML TV downloaded from Zap2it using zap2xml.exe

 

The issue I am trying to solve:

 

I watch a lot of San Francisco Giants baseball. In my XML TV file, the Title lists "MLB Baseball" and the sub-title lists "San Francisco Giants vs XXXXX"  Where XXXXX is their opponent on that day. I would like to record only those MLB Baseball games that include the San Francisco Giants but given what I know about the system, it is identifying a series by its title, in this case MLB Baseball, so I would be stuck recording all MLB games that are available instead of just recording the Giants games.

 

Is there a way to limit the series recordings to only those that include "San Francisco Giants" in the sub-title?

 

If not, does someone know of a simple process that could modify the XML TV file to replace the title with San Francisco Giants when the title is MLB Baseball and the Sub-title includes the San Francisco Giants?

 

I am  not a proficient coder, though I would guess that PERL provides the likely solution.
