robdejon9 0 Posted July 12, 2018 Posted July 12, 2018 (edited) Hi all, New Emby user here. On my system, my EPG thumbnails are cropped as per the attached images. I originally thought that this issue was specific to the ATV client, but tonight I noticed that this can also be observed in the "Schedule" section on the web client. Emby server running on MacOS ATV client Chrome browser IceTV EPG I have already discussed this with the IceTV folks, and at this point they assume that this must be related to how Emby handles the images. Anyone else seen this problem? Any suggestions? Thanks, Rob Edited July 12, 2018 by robdejon9
Senna 368 Posted July 12, 2018 Posted July 12, 2018 Is your IceTV EPG providing portrait orientated program thumbs ? If yes, then this is a long outstanding issue on the Emby Apple TV client, that it STILL does NOT handle portrait orientated program thumbs from guide provider right. https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/53585-live-tv-adapt-display-of-program-thumbnails-orientation-to-orientation-of-thumbnails-from-xmltv-guide-provider/ https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/54747-live-tv-images-and-format/ If not, then it is an other issue the devs have to investigate.
robdejon9 0 Posted July 12, 2018 Author Posted July 12, 2018 Thanks Senna, Indeed, IceTV provides portrait thumbs. Guess I won’t be seeing a resolution for this anytime soon then. I’ll try to see if I can get EPG data from an alternative source. Regards, Rob
