[UWP] playback stops on entering Connected Standby

on win10 tablet, after 10 minutes of playing something, playback gets cut off and i found this in the event log

The system is entering connected standby
Reason: Idle Timeout.

happens for both audio & video files

seems that somehow the idle timer is not "informed" that there is something playing

 

haven't used ET on the tablet for a couple of weeks, but i'm sure, the last time i did, this didn't take place

Interesting. That's strange considering that we're using Microsoft's stock video player. You would think that this would all be integrated and handled rather than requiring app developers to manually prevent standby. I guess we will need to look into this. Thanks.

Would you mind using the Edge browser to open http://tv.emby.media

 

If you play video on that, does it also happen there?

i think this was a windows problem, that got fixed

just reenabled Connected Standby today, tested again and now it continues playing fine even when the system enters connected standby mode

 

 

sry for bothering, was just strange cause other apps played on fine
