Nvidia shield as a server

Hey all,
I haven't used emby since this time last year, was curious how the development on using the nvidia shield as a server has been.

 

A few question I have are:

When a new server update come out is it pushed to the android platform as well?

How well does hardware acceleration work? 

How is overall performance people have experience while using the shield as their server?
