mchahn 20 Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 When I run the roku task it runs for 10 to 15 seconds. It's progress is smooth from 0 to 100%. But when I look for .bif files I only find them in about 18 tv show folders of 235. Is there some requirement for the video files to be processed? I know about the direct streaming limitation but that is determined at playback, right?
Luke 40114 Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Hi there, can you please attach the emby server log from the timeframe that it ran? thanks.
mchahn 20 Posted May 23, 2018 Author Posted May 23, 2018 i restarted the server for a fresh log and then ran the roku task. embyserver-63662625687.txt
mchahn 20 Posted May 23, 2018 Author Posted May 23, 2018 BTW, I just saw the cache permission problem. I should learn to look at the log before posting. However, I did "chmod 774 -R *" on the cache folder and "chown emby:root -R *" and nothing changed.
Solution mchahn 20 Posted May 23, 2018 Author Solution Posted May 23, 2018 (edited) It is working now. I went up the whole dir tree and set the owner to emby. I'm sorry for all the posts. I've been having a few bad days. I've got one more problem to post and then hopefully I'll quit bugging you for a while. Edit: The other thing I was going to post about was also related to the cache so I can shut up for a while. :-) Edited May 23, 2018 by mchahn 1
