ronozer 0 Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 So I have a Denon receiver which has a great wireless DLNA feature but it seems to be limited to 96 kHz frequency with 24 bit files (or at least for ALAC files which I prefer because they go in iTunes then). Is there any way to set DLNA on emby to downrez these files on the fly to 96 so I can stream to my Denon? The 96 khz ones I have work great, but the 192 khz ones give "file format error" Thanks! Ron
ronozer 0 Posted May 5, 2018 Author Posted May 5, 2018 I should say that 192 khz FLAC is playing, finally tested that this morning.
Luke 40077 Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 @@ronozer, apologies, I misread your posting. I am adding this to our Denon dlna profile for the next release so that these files will get converted. Thanks ! 1
Bill4sman 10 Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 how are you playing that file and does it still work? I can't seem to get anywhere near the 192/24bit?
