Troubles showing some primary/poster.jpg

Hey guys!

 

Thanks for making an awesome app, lifetime member here, and love emby over plex, however there is just one minor thing! I'm having some problems showing the primary art for movies. I've been trying to debug this for a while, but can't seem to find any solution, could you help?  

It works if i manually download hrough the metadata option. And yesterday all my thumbnails worked, but today they are broken again. tried to do force update as well.

Hi there, can you please describe what the issue is? What is the difference between "worked" and "broken"?

Oh wow, that was fast!  

 

The images are stored externally together with the movies, when i enter a folder i can clearly see that the poster.jpg is there and it's not corrupted or anything, however in emby it just shows up as blank

Well i started a complete refresh of all metadata in the library, which made all the posters/primary show up, but today it doesn't work again, on the same movies that were broken.

Can you try updating to the new 3.4 release, and then run a library scan? thanks.

Hi again!

 

It was fine for a couple of days, but now it's broken again. i did update to 3.4 which gave me the /var/Lib/emby-server error, but fixed that with a symlink, could this have broken it for me again?

Did you try running a library scan?

Yes, both library scan, refresh metadata with and without replace all, and scan for missing meta
