I prefer titles to be visible on all views, as there are many titles that have the same poster but different titles, such as when a movie has 58 different cuts/editions/versions, ala Bladerunner. However having just started using Emby Theater I am finding some title issues:

1. Titles are getting ...'d instead of their label being shrunk to fit. (For example the title will fit if viewed in Desktop mode, but not in TV mode)

2. Titles are outright missing in collections.

Hi, can you show a screenshot of #1? For #2, did you try enabling the show title option on that screen?

I think this has both pictures in it. I'm on mobile so I dunno if there's normally an integrated host on here or attachments.

Is there a setting per-collection for title visibility? I set the view mode to posters with titles when I first started. I assumed that would make that the persistent view across everything?

Try using the view settings on the collection screen itself.

Ok I'll try that when I get home today. Is there a way to make it so collections just follow the system setting? I dont see a purpose to having a separate setting from the system for each collection.

There isn't any system setting about whether to show or hide titles.

Hm, could have sworn there was posters only view and posters with titles view? Am I crazy?

Yes, these settings are available right on the screen itself.

Ah, didnt see them, I mustve glazed over after too many hours at the pc.

Is there a similar solution for the ... Titles?

That's just how the titles work in the app. If there's not enough space it will truncate and put 3 dots at the end.

Well right, but I mean it's less than ideal so I was hoping that there was a way to get it to either allot more space for titles between rows, or shrink just the font used.
