Turboschnecke 2 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 (edited) Hi, what i have installed: Kodi 17.6 on a Windows 10 machine EmbyServer 3.3.0.2 Beta (latest one from 26.02.18) on a CentOS 7 machine Latest beta version of Emby for Kodi and EmbyCon Problem: When i log into the emby dashboard, the libary is complete, i can see everything. When i start Kodi, i can see the movies completely, but tv shows show only 3 items, instead of about 800. Is there a possibility to force a rescan in Emby for Kodi or it is always the reset function and a new initial sync? What do you need exactly? The log kodi.old.log says, that the shows are empty. But why? In dashboard i see the episodes... EmbyCon has the same "problem". Anyone has an idea? Edited February 26, 2018 by Turboschnecke
Turboschnecke 2 Posted February 26, 2018 Author Posted February 26, 2018 What do you need from me? Its an smb share on a OmniOS Server. Its mounted in Centos: /home/movies and /home/serien as read-only. This folders are set in emby and i set the path substitution to \\Storage\Movies and \\Storage\Serien, which i can access on the windows machine.
Angelblue05 4131 Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 (edited) @@Luke I've added ItemCounts to the fields when requesting items from the server. We use the following key to know if the show is empty: RecursiveItemCount Something is causing the server to return 0 to that count, even when there's episodes. @@Turboschnecke I do not have that issue, but let's focus on 2 Broke Girls. Go the emby for kodi settings > advanced > log level set to debug. In the webclient, go to 2 Broke Girls > 3 dots menu > edit info > Save. Wait a minute and provide the new Kodi log generated. Thank you. Edited February 27, 2018 by Angelblue05
Turboschnecke 2 Posted February 27, 2018 Author Posted February 27, 2018 @null_pointer: Yes, all shows have a TVDB ID. And yes, i can watch them using the web client. Tried twice. Structure with mounted SMB share: /home/serien/#/2 Broke Girls (SD)/S01/2.Broke.Girls.S01E01.First.Episode.mkv Here the "#" could be a problem, but other shows eg. in A dont work too. @Angelblue05: Attached the log file with a complete initial sync. Movies are okay in Kodi, Shows only the known three... Perhaps you see something kodi.log 1
Turboschnecke 2 Posted February 27, 2018 Author Posted February 27, 2018 (edited) In Emby yes. In Kodi its a smb share (Path substitution in emby settings) \\Storage\Serien Edited February 27, 2018 by Turboschnecke
Luke 40144 Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 Is the web app able to show unwatched counts for the series and season folders?

Turboschnecke 2 Posted February 28, 2018 Author Posted February 28, 2018 @Null_pointer: Sorry, yes i emby i added /home/serien/# /home/serien/A and so on as a media source directory @Angelblue05: What do you mean with "refresh the tv show in the web client"? How does it work? Do you mean saving the infos in the three dot menu? I can try it today evening
Angelblue05 4131 Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 Yes, open the 3 dots menu > Refresh metadata > I'd try scan for new and updated files (but you can try the other options too, to see if any works).
Luke 40144 Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 Also did you see Luke question? Does the Web Client show you the number of unwatched episodes for the series and seasons. It probably doesn't because ChildCount and user data counts are 0 as well. Does the web app show any seasons at all under that series?
Turboschnecke 2 Posted February 28, 2018 Author Posted February 28, 2018 Yes, the web client shows all seasons and episodes!
Turboschnecke 2 Posted February 28, 2018 Author Posted February 28, 2018 I can look today evening. At the moment i am not at home
Turboschnecke 2 Posted February 28, 2018 Author Posted February 28, 2018 The web client shows all episodes as unwatched... But there should be a lot of watched episodes.

Turboschnecke 2 Posted March 2, 2018 Author Posted March 2, 2018 Yes, but nothing happened. But i could try it again with the Windows version
Turboschnecke 2 Posted March 2, 2018 Author Posted March 2, 2018 Here the logs: kodi.old.embywin.log = initial sync kodi.embywin.log = Edited "2 Broke Girls" and synced If i get it right, it says again, that 2 broke girls is an empty show... But in the web client i see all episodes and i can watch them there kodi.embywin.log kodi.old.embywin.log
Angelblue05 4131 Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Was this after refreshing the show in the webclient?
Angelblue05 4131 Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 It still shows RecursiveItemCount being 0... @@Luke any ideas? Refreshing didn't work. Would refreshing the child items do anything?
