Luke 37064
Just run the scheduled task. Check the filters you've enabled on the subtitle download screen.

Luke 37064
Did you read the help text underneath the perfect match setting?
joaorsfonseca 1
Yes. I've readed it. The episodes have subtitles, i can see them. They were added to the metadata. The thing is that i want to have them in a separate file alongside with mkv file. It works perfect for new files.. The old ones don't get the srt file
Luke 37064
Try unchecking that option.
joaorsfonseca 1
Which one? The first one? I believe that i'm not explaining myself as i should. The subtitles were downloaded with a perfect match with those settings I've shown, but they were added to Emby metadata. I just want them to be placed as "physic" file. Luke 37064
Ok yes it is always important to describe your issue in detail. We do not have a setting to move to them. The only real option is to use the emby subtitle editor to delete the existing ones, then the scheduled task will download again.
joaorsfonseca 1
Where can i find the Subtitle Editor? I need to do that for all my episodes? Isn't there any fastest way? Perhaps force a full sync on the Library...
Luke 37064
Just go to the detail screen of an item -> 3 dot menu -> edit subtitles. A faster way might be to use your file browser to locate the server's metadata folder, then delete all subtitle files recursively. Then run a library scan. kandolhu 3
Can Emby users download Subtitles from Emby? If yes, what are the steps? Now when users download movies they are not able to download Subtitles, although in the Settings > Users > Subtitles I've checked "Allow subtitle downloading". That option refers to the ability to download subtitles from internet sites for use with your media on the server. When users download content to a device, I believe the app should take the default subtitle settings for that user into account and bring along any subtitles that would play by default as a result of those settings. Luke 37064
But as far as one-off downloads in the web app, no, that's not currently possible, but it's a good idea for the future. Thanks.
