This is quite inconvenient as the folder names often contain valuable information. For example, digital camera photos are typically numbered only, while the path may have a more helpful name like "France 2015". The same applies to films where the files are often named with cryptic abbrevations or numbers only, while the folder contains the name of the series or things like that.
