Hi All

Have only just joined this forum, though I have been using Emby on my PC for many years. I have a LG Smart TV model LM6700 software version 04.42.08

I can't seem to find Emby available anywhere on the TV.

Is it only available to later models than mine ?

TIA

Hi, I'm guessing this is an LG Netcast TV? Currently we only support LG WebOS Tv's. We may add Netcast support in the future though. Thanks !

Thanks for your reply - How do I determine weather it's Netcast or WebOS ?

Well from a quick google search that looks it was released in 2012 and therefore would be netcast.

I have an LG TV : 55LH6000-SB
Web OS version: 3.3.3-4401 (dreadlocks-dharug)
Software version : 05.30.01

I don't see the emby application in the app panel !
Is my TV compatible with Emby ?

Thanks for your help

@Luke

Any updates on LG Netcast support? There are still a lot of Netcast TVs out there.

Haven't had a chance to look at netcast yet. It's possible for the future. Thanks.

I have 4 Netcast TVs in the house...I got excited to switch to Emby last week and bought upgraded hardware for a server before researching whether the Emby app was available for them.

Now I am stuck with a server that I cannot use from the TVs. Thankfully, I just got a month's worth of Emby Premium instead of lifetime.

Any idea when/IF a Netcast port will materialize?

Is there a difference between LG Smart TV's and other webos products? I tested a projector with webos 3.5 and there was no emby app in the store.

I'm not sure yet. We're currently trying to find an answer to that. Thanks.

We are still working on a netcast port. Regarding projectors, we contacted LG and they said at this point they are only taking app submissions for projectors that run Web OS 4 +.
