Hi,

MB Server: 3.0.5171.19958

MB Classic client: 3.0.129.0 2-12.2

Chocolate version: 3.0.3.8 (version that came with MBC installer)

Operating sytem: Windows 7 Ultimate (32-bit)

Upon running MB Classic from W7MC, I'm told that my plugins are out of date and need updating. I click on OK and go to the plugins page. Here I'm directed to update Chocolate to 3.0.4.1.

The update works fine and I'm told to restart MBC, which I do. However W7MC reports that it is unable to start the application.

Attached log samples:

  • wmc_log.txt = MBC log file
  • chocolate.xml = Windows Event log

If I replace the contents of C:\ProgramData\MediaBrowser-Classic\Plugins with the files prior to the update then MBC will happily load again.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Also the last couple configurator logs if there are any.  Thx.

I had the same issue yesterday, uninstall Chocolate through Configurator, restart Configurator, reinstall Chocolate. Worked for me.

Silver - there are no configurator logs?

I need someone to find the log file that actually contains the update of Chocolate.  So far, no one has been able to come up with that.

I'm more than happy to post it - but where would I find the configurator log? This page doesn't tell me where that would be located.

It's okay.  I already got what I need from the other thread on this issue.  Thanks.

But for future reference they are in the same place as the other MBC logs.

But for future reference they are in the same place as the other MBC logs.

In that same folder I have 27 files starting "MBClassic-", 1 file titled "MBClassic-Msi.log" and 2 files starting "Migration-".

Nothing else I'm afriad.

That just means you never ran the configurator.
