adrianwi 252 Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 I saw there was on option to enable this on the aTV client, but even with it checked I'm not getting any music. Am I missing something else? Thanks
ebr 15580 Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Do you have theme music for your items? Does it work with the web app?
adrianwi 252 Posted October 28, 2017 Author Posted October 28, 2017 No! I wasn't sure how this worked, as with Plex it just started playing them one day! A quick Google and it looks like I need MP3 files for each of the TV Shows? Do these need to be named in any particular way, and can they just be stored in the Show folder, or should they be in each Season? Thanks
Solution Luke 39667 Posted October 28, 2017 Solution Posted October 28, 2017 Check out our wiki to learn how to name them: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Theme%20songs%20&%20videos Thanks. 1
adrianwi 252 Posted October 29, 2017 Author Posted October 29, 2017 Well, I had a look at the wiki and added a few TV Themes from televisiontunes.com saved into the Season folder named theme.mp3 but when I browse that show I still don't get any music on any of the clients I've tried (aTV, web app, iOS) So I have: /TV Shows (library root) /24 /Season 1 /Season 2 theme.mp3 Not that important really, but it was a nice touch when I was using Plex so would be nice to replicate on emby. Any more ideas?
ebr 15580 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 saved into the Season folder They need to be in the series folder if you want them to play when you navigate to the show... Also, be sure you have run a library scan after adding them. I would suggest getting them working in the web app first and then we can see how this app does. Thanks.
adrianwi 252 Posted October 29, 2017 Author Posted October 29, 2017 Thanks. Copying the theme.mp3 file into first Season folder seems to have worked for the 2 I'd added, at least in the web app. I'll test the others later Maybe the wiki should be updated, as it's not clear from that where the file needs to go?
