Music artists not added to a collection

The 'Add to collection' option on the 3-dot menu for a music artist appears to operate.

However, when viewing the collection, the artists are not there.

Adding an individual music album does work.

 

Is this intentional, or is there a problem?

I can replicate this.  But it seems the same as the Genre issue.
