Luke 37067
How do I get a folder off of my cloud to add to emby library Hi there, can you mount it as a local drive? Then add that local drive into emby.
raudraido 43
Emby server on windows won't let you add network share if server runs as service. Is it possible to resolve that?

pwhodges 1531
Before I retired I was a network administrator for a couple of decades... There are many articles on the web that talk about this, e.g.: https://www.pdfblog.at/2011/06/windows-service-access-to-network-resources-what-to-consider/ or https://stackoverflow.com/questions/13268559/network-access-to-windows-service. Note there are some details to get right. Note in particular that @Luke's advice doesn't apply to a service - a service cannot use a mapped drive letter, but requires the UNC path. Ofcourse URI. Thanks, works!
Luke 37067
On Windows I don't recommend using mapped drives anyway, service or not. Windows will disconnect them when idle and that will prevent Emby from being able to use them.
