CletusAZ 0 Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 (edited) Would it be possible to display fullscreen video when using apples lightning to HDMI adapter? (https://www.amazon.com/Apple-Lightning-Digital-Adapter-MD826AM/dp/B009WHV3BM) When using the adapter with YouTube and Netflix the video fills the screen. When connected and used with emby, while video and audio will play it looks a screen mirror of the iPad rather than the method the YouTube and Netflix apps use. I'd love this feature if possible. kaufhauslicht 3 Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Hi, is this feature- full screen video via HDMI-Output- working with the new iOS App Version? I am planing to buy an HDMI adapter for my iPad and I would be thrilled to use it on hotel-room TVs etc. thx
Luke 40079 Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Hi, yes please try with the latest update to the app. Thanks.
Gameone7 0 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Am I doing something wrong? It just mirros my screen.Apps like YouTube and Netflix stream in 1080p and your phone becomes kind of a remote while using the adapter. This doesn't happen with emby app.

Gameone7 0 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Hi, what version of iOS? I'm using iOS 9.3.6 on my iPhone 4s
Luke 40079 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Ok on iOS 11+ the experience will be better. But for iOS 9 & 10, at this point that's as far as we're going to take it, so yes it's only a screen mirror.
